Wireless Services
Wireless Access Information for the UCLA Psychology Department.
There are several UCLAWLAN "Access Points" (APs) located in Franz Hall:
- Franz Tower Lobby
- Franz Tower 3rd floor
- Franz Middle 1st floor
- Franz Middle 3rd floor
The Access Points above comply with BOL standards and have similar access requirements. For more information on how to connect to these Access Points, please see http://www.bol.ucla.edu/services/wireless/.
It is important to note that wireless signals (like those used by cell phones) can be hindered by building materials such as concrete, steel beams, wall partitions, etc. For example, one's wireless access might be affected if the user's computer is separated from the access point by several walls.
