Account Services
Information about user accounts and other network access related issues in the UCLA Psychology Department.
Users need to have individual accounts to access most of the computing resources on campus. Wherever practical, we try to standardize your login procedures so that you may use your BOL account information to access services on the Psychology network.
Over time, we hope to reduce the number of different accounts (logins, passwords, etc.) necessary but for now, users could be assigned any of the following kinds of accounts:
- Psychology Network Account
Used for logging on to the Novell file server - Psychology VPN Account
Used for accessing the network from off-campus - Psychology Lab Account
Used for logging into lab computers - Psychology/LSC Web Space Account
Used for making changes to certain areas of the LSC hosted websites - MailMan Administrator Account
Used for managing distribution lists - BOL Account
Used for logging into BOL services as well as password protected sites on the Psychology website like faculty member webpages and distribution list displays - QDB
Used by certain staff members with financial responsibility - AIS/OASIS
Used by certain staff members with financial responsibility
