Psychology Course Web Sites

Psychology Course Web sites are maintained by the Information Technology group. If you have trouble accessing a Course Web site and have already read the through the Accessing Course Web Sites Web page, then please e-mail your problem to us at : webpages@psych.ucla.edu.

The UCLA Department of Psychology began providing Course Web sites for all undergraduate students who were enrolled in Psych courses during the Fall 97 quarter. Our Course Web sites use the Blackboard Course Management System (CMS).  The Instructional Enhancement Initiative (IEI) which required that these Course Web sites be created also mandated that the course information would be made available to the students during the "current" quarter.   At the end of each quarter, course information is moved to the "previous quarter" area of the web server, but is still available for those students who were enrolled so that they can review final grades and other relevant information.

We also provide the prior school year's course data on the Life Sciences Blackboard server. Listings of courses more than a year old are still viewable on the Web site, however the course material will not remain active. When the data is more than one year old the course files are re-zipped and saved.  We can restore older courses at the instructor's request, but for a limited time only; server space does not allow us to keep all the data up and active.
